PROFILE
Dr. Marco Longo graduated in medicine from the School of Medicine of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), in Curitiba. After graduating, he completed a Medical Residency in General Surgery and, later, in Plastic Surgery, both at Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo (USP) School of Medicine.
After completing his residency, he specialized in rhinoplasty through the Rhinoplasty Group of the Division of Plastic Surgery at USP, where he worked for 5 more years as a collaborating preceptor physician. He also completed postgraduate training in Microsurgery at Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo School of Medicine.
Seeking constant improvement, he completed international training in the United States, in New York, at the Plastic Surgery service of New York University and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, deepening his knowledge of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
He takes an active part in the main congresses and meetings of the specialty, continuously following the most modern techniques, best technologies, and advances in plastic surgery.
Dr. Marco Longo also completed his doctorate (PhD) at the Department of Plastic Surgery of the University of São Paulo School of Medicine, with a line of research focused on the use of stem cells in plastic surgery.
